I have recently re-kindled an old music project called Dreaming Forever.
The original idea behind the project was to build on a single ‘theme tune’. The the variation would derive from all the timberal-type possibilities that instrumentals and synths afford.
You can hear the older version of the track at my semi-abandoned MySpace page.
If you don’t want to sully your browser cache with MySpace you can download the track if you like.
Fast forward about 4 years and I’m reproducing the track for Chloe Fan for use in her thesis project, WiiPaint.
The idea of the sound component of WiiPaint is that the users control the layers of sound, so the possibilites will be endless, almost along the same lines of the original idea behind ‘Dreaming Forever’. Suffice to say, I can’t wait to hear/see the results!
Here is a rough demo of the new Dreaming Forever…
Enjoy (hopefully!)
