The next version of Swiing will move away from being web-based and downloadable to just downloadable.
Now there are more sounds to play with, the file size has inevitably steadily risen along the way. The SWF file is now over 2MB and will probably reach as much as 10MB by the end of development. It doesn’t sound like a big file, but it’s probably not a good idea to keep someone sitting in front of a preloader for several minutes.
Personally, when I wait that long for something to download I would like to keep the file somewhere on my computer rather than losing it when I shut my browser – especially when I’d have to wait all over again the next time I’d like to run it…
Anyway, that’s enough general waffle – time for the download link!
